Do you still feel that Edwards is a great example of family values? To quote you from March 22, 2007:

“CHEERS and Blessings to John and Elizabeth Edwards. The courage it takes to be optimistic in the face of Mrs. Edwards’ returning cancer is exactly what this country needs. I believe John Edwards will be our next president. Though I love Obama and admire Hilary, I think Edwards stands the best chance of actually winning America’s vote and heart. He is an incredible human being. ”

What are your thoughts on Edwards now?

I agree completely with the comment above. I fear it will reinforce the stupidity of republican knuckledraggers. However, for the more “erudite” type it may be considered humor of a sort.

Of course, who gives a whit about what the erudite think anyway? They never support liberal radio like this show do they? They are just as selfish and self centered with their east coast big city life too. They don’t even realize there is a section of the nation past their “too close” relatives in the woods of Appalachia.

They actually think Air America is liberal and it ISN’T.

Your June 9th Show where you interviewed Vincent Bugliosi was fantastic. I really enjoyed the show. It’s good to hear your show go back to the format you used to have. I don’t get to drop in during your hours these days, but your show is ALWAYS on my Sansa View. Thanks Doug and Lydia for the great show. I really enjoy it. I just got my book “The Prosecution Of George W. Bush For Murder.” and I can’t wait to sit down and read it. Thanks for this interview.

Why does Matthews ask James why he is screaming? Matthews does nothing but scream!! It turns out that Bush was NOT talking about Obama, and was actually talking about the anti-semite Jimmy Carter.

I will admit that Kevin James for some reason cannot answer his question, but at the same token Matthews has the same lame talking point.

But what a hypocrit Matthews is because he just made a historical blunder by saying that the USS Cole bombing happened under Bush when in reality it happened under Clinton..

Their all idiots in my book!

Dear Doug,
I listened to your radio show for the first time Fr.day June 13 . Though I didn’t agree with all your coments , I still enjoyed your show .I’m a registered Republican who is leaning toward voting for Sen. O’Bama . I did have a concern with your statement that all republicans are cowards when it pertains to war . I am a combat veteran of the Vietnam War , I recieved a Silver Star , a Bronze Star ant two Army Commeendation Medals with V device . You should be careful in your comments . Even so I will continue listening to your radio show .

This is all very consistent with what I’ve observed the entire time during the Bush / Cheney Republican war against Iraq. Two camps of spineless chicken hawks (all Republican) exist out there whose stupidity is preceded by arrogance and self-crippling ideologies. The first camp is composed of corrupt old straight ticket voting Republican geazers who are all for war becasue they don’t have to fight in it. These are the kind of people who will beleive anything you tell them as long as it is in alignment with their personal hate & fear mongering mindset. The other camp is all these yellow college Republican sociopaths who love to be told what to think by manipulative self serving right wing elitests who get wealthy off of war.

They should all be forced to enlist and fight in their Republican war in Iraq.
