  1. I am skeptical that granting Goodling immunity would compel her to tell the truth. Why not just subpoena her? As I understand Fifth Amendment rights, you can’t plead the Fifth and not show up for court. Goodling is playing a loosing game here. She has already guaranteed herself of possible disbarment for refusing to testify before Congress. She could be found in contempt of Congress and put in a federal can until she does testify. How stupid are these people?
