  1. I agree, if immigrants from Mexico (or any other Central American country) are in the US, they should have the chance to become American Citizens. They are living in poverty and why should we turn away from our own neighbors who are hungry and at risk for health problems and even premature death from heart disease, cancer, etc.?

    Here in Albuquerque, and New Mexico in general, there is a HUGE gap between the Rich and the Poor - one of the highest in the nation. We need to help those among us who are less fortunate.

    We need to stop sending monies to Iraq and send money to the people in Mexico. As Bob Brinker of ABC’s Moneytalk has been discussing, when the Major OIL FIELD in Mexico runs out, the government run out of money and will stop its welfare programs. that will mean more immigration, so we need to start planning for our neighbors to the South NOW.
